Furnace Not Working

I have a 2008 3400,my problem is my furnace won't fire up.
I have plenty of propane,so that's not the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jack

in some previous post there are discussions about opening the gas valves to quickly and shutting off the gas flow. you may have enough for lighting the stove but not enough pressure to run the furnace.

I had that happen last year at this time when the temperature was thirteen degrees, we were on the way South and had the dog and cat in crates in the rig. Thank goodness for fur coats. Our problem was a real duhhhh moment. The battery disconnect was engaged and the furnace will not run without the 12v DC feed. May not be your problem, but offering this up in the event that it may be related to the problem.

Thanks Bingo, I'll check that out today.
I ran it for a couple of minutes then shut it off then thought I better run it for a longer length of time but it wouldn't fire up again.
We really haven't used our furnace that much,I am checking everything before we leave out for a couple of weeks.

I had a simular situation where it appeared air was trapped in the line to the furnace. After a couple of resets it fired up and ran ok. Since you dont use it much I would suggest first checking the area where the gas enters the fire chamber for and spider web buildup.

They have a timer on them so if you tried turning it on right after turning it off it won't start right up. It may take up to 4-5 minutes to reset. With cobwebs it probably wouldn't have started the first time.

Take the cover off outside and see if any of the trouble shooting indicator lights are blinking. That might help diagnose the problem. We just had to have a circuit board replaced, and they forgot to attach a ground wire which caused intermitent problems.

Ditto the battery disconnect, if the heater fired up, that can't be the problem, but low batteries could be if you are not on park power.

Thanks to Countryfolks, this was exactly my problem I didn't wait long enough for the system to reset.
Thanks to all replies,I've learn a lot through them.
Special thanks to 8.1al who sent me a 9 page trouble shooting manual which gives me something to refer to the next time I have a furnace problem. Thanks Charlie!
