When I'm not on the road

I am working on electrical trouble-shooting, refrigeration heating and cooling.
I made two pictorial reports on a Victory cooler I rebuilt for a customer at Café Trio. I had to find a refrigerant leak, fix it, change out two evaporator fan motors, install a new door gasket and fix all 4 bent wheels. The unit developed a leak in the condensate evaporator pan, ran into a vacuum and pulled in water into the system, I dried it out, ran new copper lines and put in a new dryer.
Thought it may be interesting for the mechanics among us.
I had it running, but when it got cold, another fan motor was noisy so I got another motor and replaced it. I will bill him $800.00

Some how I don't think Ozz will ever retire, just as he will never grow up. Remember I got to see him on a Segway. There was a twinkle in his eye when they took the govenor off low. Oooppps on edit I said took it off high, I meant low.....

How is the house remodeling going?

Looks kinda, sorta, like a portable salad box. They can require a serious cleaning at times. Was the copper line part of the hot gas cooling, that might have been helping to rid the area of condensate? Nice repair job.

Lonnie, it's hard for this old dog to stay on the porch, I love to repair things, and also need the beer money...
Colleen, when I am with you and Bob, it seems like we are always looking for some kind of trouble we can get into. Sue and I met a couple for some pool and darts, after we left them, Sue wanted to go home, so I went to Ameristar Casino, I had such a good time, I didn't get home until 5:00 A.M. made a few bucks too.
The house is being worked on continuously, I just rebuilt the humidifier, and installed a hot water recirculating pump and control, I will post a report on that. I am replacing the fence around the pool, a section at a time, 8' long by 6' tall. By myself. It is hard to drag the sections off the truck, drag them over in place then level them and screw them on, but I am doing it. I'm looking around for new Granite counter-tops now.
Sailer, the bad market hopefully will be over when I get the house done, if not, we will close the house up and travel anyway.
ole dude, you are right on, my friend. The common repair problem with the hot gas evaporation system is that the hot copper line sits in a water pan vibrating, with acids from the salad dressing. It eats away the copper line, that is where the green substance came from in the pan. Thanks.
Sounds like you know your way around that refrigeration.
