Wall Surfaces

Our 2019 Montana is about 18 months old. It was delivered to our permanent RV Resort site after closing, and it has never been moved since. We have noticed that the seams of the wall-covering appear to have excess paste/glue all over and it has dried and is a nasty discoloration in all rooms of the fifth wheel. We have tried several different non-aggressive cleaners to remove this glue/stains, but no luck so far. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? We would sure appreciate your input! Thanks!

Just the way they are, our 2016 has a few places too.
I did get the putty off the woodwork with some mineral spirits though.

Our 2020 330rl also had the odd putty spots. I got mine cleaned off with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Worked a little too well on the island, took a little bit of the stain they used off. I just hung a decoration in that spot.

Couple questions-- Where are these stains and what colors are they? Also have you used a propane heater fired by a propane bottle or line coming into the unit? These can cause stains also. Inquiring minds would like to know!

Mine were putty used to cover nails and staples, the lighter color like the new cabinets, and some yellowish glue randomly on the walls in the hallway. Came right up.

The putty on the wood cleaned up with just a wet clean towel for me. The seams on the wall paper like walls, were all clean for me.

Three new Montanas and never had that problem. I had a great dealer so maybe they took care of it before my PDI.

Probably...the rvs have been flying out of the dealer lots as quickly as they get them in. I think OP had an pre owned coach though. Mine looked as if one of the workers at the plant had some on their pant leg and they brushed against a few things. The glue spots...I dunno?
