Or if you have the Cat Scale app on your phone, you can run through both ways without going inside. Works very well and stores your tickets on the phone. You can also have it send a PDF of the weigh ticket to your email address.

keystone's specs put that model pin at 2580lbs. But other responders are correct diesel or gas doesn't matter. But a gvwr on the 3500 must be 14000lbs.

You would want to "add" the hitch weight to the pin weight to deduct from the payload or "subtract" the hitch weight plus pin weight from the payload. I'm sure that is what you meant but it seemed a bit confusing. Doing it either way should come out with the same number.

I ask my agent if I was overweight would I be covered. They called Allststate and yes I am covered. Think about it. If you run a stop light, you speed, you drive drunk or any number of things you an do you are covered. Your insurance company can’t deny coverage. If they can they would never haft to cover anything.

Yes your Insurance Company will cover you up to the limits of your Policy. It's the Civil Suit filled after where you stand to lose everything you own. Watch any of the adds on the Tele from those Lawyers claiming Millions of dollars for their clients. How may of us can stand a multi million dollar award against us?

I have been there with shortbed srw trucks. Pulling is not the problem. The problem is the rear axle weight.. With a majority of the larger 5th wheels, a SRW WILL BE OVER LIMITS. Thus, the reason for dually trucks. Stay well under the linits and dont push it to the max..

Only real way is ro weigh with trailer connected. Front axle first, pull forward, do truck , then pull where truck and trailer are on the scale. You will get all weights...

A good Truck Scale will weigh front axle, rear axle, and both trailer axles all in one weigh, giving you all three individual weight on the weigh slip.

The number one selling Montana is the 35’ 3120/21. It will probably be given a run for its money by the 3230CK at 37’. Many of us like the shorter (lighter weight) Montana’s for several reasons. Not everyone needs a dually.
