Wet Bolts

Not a newbie (this is our 3rd fiver), but I’m a retired “white collar” guy with limited knowledge on many things mechanical. Also, this is the first 5th wheel we’ve owned with “greasable” wet bolts. So here goes...
How often should I grease the wet bolts on my Montana HC and, is there a specific kind of grease I should use, or just general purpose? (we live in a moderate climate that in winter will only drop to, or below, freezing about 5-7 days a year, not in a row, and will hit 105-108 about the same number of days during the summer. Otherwise a fairly temperate climate with low humidity). Thanks!

Every 3 months or 3,000 miles, I use Lucas Red & Tacky on wet bolts and wheel bearings

Still need to inspect bronze bushings, even if you keep them greased. Just had to replace spring eye bushings (7 out of 8 worn through) after around 12,000 miles.

Wet bolts are better than the alternative. B4 changing to IS suspension, did it monthly just to make sure.

As much as you want too, no seals to worry about. They'll still wear out the bushings but it took 5 yrs for that to happen when greasing them about 4 times a yr average. Usually in the spring just prior to returning home to Ontario from Florida, once or twice during the summer and just before leaving for Florida in the fall....
