Ford 03 6.0 L bad ICP?
Well, as luck would have it. We were loading the truck to attend Thanksgiving dinner @ family gathering while it started and was idling smoothly, suddenly, surged, hammering noise albeit cool but not frigidite out 39 deg F, I shut her down.
Restarted and pulled out and stopped at corner when she just quit. Shut off restarted and put in reverse, again a big surge...so put her up in driveway and moved dinner fixings to Trailblazer.
Fast forward a bit, today, code was P2285 and now have that little bugger sitting on work table awaiting a replacement ICP sensor purchase. Some driveway job this has been and hopeful we will close this chapter and move on...to future failure free travels.
