Electric Fireplace
I have an electric fireplace in my 2012 Montana 3100RL. I am the second owner and nowhere in the brochures or manuals I was given is any mention made of the fireplace. How do you turn it on and off? How do you adjust the heat? There are two switches in the 5th wheel that do not seem to operate anything. One is on the curb sidewall next to one of the recliners and the other is a large black one on the main monitor panel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since the mornings in this neck of the woods are getting pretty cool and I am using lots of propane prior to heading for Phoenix at the end of the month.

There is a panel at the bottom of the fireplace that is hinged on the bottom and will open from the top, inside this panel are all the controls.

In my 2015 3100rl, there are fireplace control buttons on top of it and it has a remote, as well. You might check online for a manual (mine's a Dimplex).
My switches on the wall by the recliner operate interior lights, in my unit.

Thanks but it sounds like mine is a completely different unit from yours.

Large switch on main panel should be ceiling fan on/off. If your fireplace has a flip down panel at the bottom, switches and thermostat control are behind it. Directions should be on flip down panel.

Friend has a 2008 3295RK that has a wall switch near the microwave. Switch up to use the microwave. Switch down to use the fireplace. Can't use both at the same time.
