Hey Bingo,
I think maybe you should’ve named this thread
“The Mystery Brew.”

Somebody was nice enough to email the recipe for the brew this evening. It is looking like the fermentation period will be reached early next week. The recipe looks to be an excellent one for sampling so perhaps after a couple of nights thinking about the ingredients, we may be prepared to share the recipe with others. I promise details will be forthcoming which may change the manner in which we all look at what is cooking. It is getting more and more difficult keeping the cat in the bag sedated!

This is going to set a record for the longest thread discussing nothing in particular.

Dick,
You must have missed the epic louvered tailgate theead from a few years ago. I promise the underlying intent of this thread is a good one and will be revealed shortly. Besides, this is a lot more interesting than simply proclaiming something to the MOC, right?

Since I do not want to be the primary cause of heartburn or confusion for our fellow MOC members, I have decided to reveal exactly what is brewing. The recipe that we received is the build sheet for a new 2014 3850FL Big Sky that we are about to pull the trigger on. We have been working earnestly with Larry (Hook) since the Mid-Atlantic Rally and Camping World of Fayetteville. They have went above and beyond and I have to admit are about to do what we could not get others to attempt. I can not say enough about their efforts to make a deal that we are comfortable with. In the past, I have always been a proponent of sticking with local dealerships and we gave them a chance but they never came close on the deal and could not do the primary options we requested. The new rig will be generator equipped, travler auto-seek satellite installed for HD Directv, new Spendide Stackables and a couple of unique mods. One of the unique mods is the service department (of which Larry speaks very highly!) will change out the sliding door between the bath and the bedroom for a conventional door. The other mod is radical, they will remove the range/cooktop combination and it will be replaced with a stainless steel cooktop and beneath it they will install a motorhome type drawer dishwasher in stainless steel! We will be ordering a king bed but will be replacing it immediately with a king size Sleep Number bed. We are excited about our third and hopefully final Montana and hope to finalize the deal early this week. Montana has already requested photos of the dishwasher install in the event they decide to offer it as an option in the future. The dishwasher will be fully plumbed and will drain into the galley tank. We will move our camera system, auto-start module for the genny, and our Progressive EMS to the new rig. We are excited and based on our experience so far are extremely pleased with the efforts of Larry and his General Manager to equip us with what we hope is our retirement Montana. There, the cat is now out of the bag!

That certainly sounds a lot better than the
“Wildcat” hint I threw out there in an earlier post!

Did not want to stop the brewing Bingo but George and I thought that is what was in the pot. Congratulations. Can't wait to see the new rig.

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
While you were at the rally, the two of you spent more time in the 3850 demo than you spent in the pavilion. This was inevitable. Congratulations on your new unique rig.

Congratulations, it sounds wonderful. I'm sure you will be posting pictures on the MOC. Hope you will, I would really like to see the new stove top/dishwasher.

Wish you many years of happy, safe travels.

Thanks, Bingo! We are breaking some new ground here and I too am excited to see the finished product.
I would be glad to serve any MOCer who is interested. We have about 12 new and used Montys in stock now.
Let me brew one for you.
