Booster
We have a 2019 3121RL, can anyone tell us where the Booster for TV might be for this model? Also has anyone had issue with Hydraulic Slide cylinder leaking? Thanks

TV booster behind the TV in the bedroom. Small little push button switch next to the cigarette lighter socket.
Hydraulic slide cylinder leaking?
How can you tell?
If so that would be a warranty claim. Bottom coroplast will have to come off.

Depending on when in 2019 it was built, it may have the “Key TV” system, which doesn’t use a conventional booster like most of us are used to. Look for the Key TV box located in the convenience center. The system is always on when you have 12v power on in the unit. No button to push to turn it on & off.

And from what I read on here, the key tv is notorious for not working.

I will say that I’m not a fan of it. I think it was a solution looking for a problem. I eliminated ours & went back to an old school power inserter when I pulled my Key Tv box out & saw that the power & ground wires both had cracks in the insulation right where they went into the Key TV box.

There is something to be said about the KISS principle. That's the reason when ordering our 2016 unit we stayed with manual switches, can't loose them.

Thanks for the info. Ours was not behind TV, but was in convenience center. Did not realize was suppose to be booster there. The cylinder under slide is leaking hydraulic fluid and I plan on taking in for warranty work, just wondered if anyone else had any problem.

I had the door side hydraulic cylinder replaced last January under warranty by General Trailer Birch Run. They also cut out and replaced the fluid contaminated coroplast.
Have the KeyTv and have not an issue with it.

Had a leak on the rear DS jack. Was a bad crimp on the hose fitting. When it broke loose had hydro fluid spraying inside the coroplast. Big mess. No way to get the slide in to get it to dealer. Had mobile repair picked up a hose fabbed at Auto Zone. Much heavier hose and fitting. May end up dropping the whole bottom and replace hoses.

For the KeyTV system you have to unplug your cable from the KeyTV box, then go back inside and run the channel setup under "air" channels to get your digital channels.
Then, to watch cable, you have to go back out and plug in the cable, switch back to cable on TV and then you can watch cable.
Such a stupid system.....

I just purchased a 2019 Montana 3720RL w/KeyTV. I'm having the same problem... I don't use a satellite system. Has anyone found a way to have OTA and Park Cable hooked up and selectable from the TV menu? It's a major PITA to hook and unhook the park cable wire!

I had a front jack start leaking on our 2020, took it in and they replaced the whole jack. They said up front that parts were hard to get but when I brought it in they had on on the shelf they used.
Haven't had any issues with they KeyTV system, works as advertised so far.

We got our cylinder fixed, seal was leaking. So..... over $600 later we are fixed. Was not covered by warranty since mechanical is only 1 year and we got our 2019 in October 2018.
