Themostat CC2 issue
Now when I turn my furnace on the A/C blower, which is in the ceiling, turns on also. And, when the furnace reaches the temp. it shuts off but the A/C goes on and on and on.
help.
I've gone through the manual and eliminated both programs but this is what I am getting.
It is going down to 33 degrees tomorrow and I'd like to just run my furnace and not the A/C blower all night.

This is a "feature" of the CC2. There was a couple of posts about it earlier in the winter. I will to try and find them. I can't remember exactly the cause (severe case of CRS) but I know it has to do with the fan speed setting. Set the fan to AUTO and I think the furnace will run *WITHOUT* running the fan in the A/C.
On Edit: I found the posting and I was correct. Check this out http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...furnace,fan,AC
Where are you that it will be 33 degrees and why?

I think I figured it out.
At some earlier point, I had shut the A/C off awhile ago----before it completed it's cycle.... Then later, when I got into the cold weather, UP Michigan, I turned the furnace on but, the A/C had not completed it's cycle, so they both were running at the same time. (Make sense?)
Anyway, I pulled the ciruit breaker of the 110 voltage, A/C and the furnace worked fine. Later, I turned the A/C 110 circuit back on and it didn't turn back on.....so I assume this action cancel the A/C cycle.
What a mechanic

Glad you solved it. That wasn't a fun problem.

I would still use the 'initializing' procedure Carl highlighted. It probably will happen again.
