2019 National Rally Route to Great Lakes Rally

Good Day all - what routes are recommended from Goshen to St. Ignace? Hate to pay tolls if not needed.

Route to Great Lakes Rally

There are several of us that will be traveling to the Great Lakes Rally after the National Rally. There are at least two of us the will be stopping for the night at the Soaring Eagle Hideaway Campground. We could get together some time to discuss a route.

In Michigan the only toll will be acrossed the bridge. I had earlier suggested a couple of routes. One going up US27/M127 and staying at the Casino in Mt. Pleasant. Or go up to Gaylord and spend night in WalMart.
Or, just go up US131 and spend the night around Cadillac or further North.

Are you staying at the Soaring Eagle Hideaway Resort ($45) or parking in the casino lot (free)? We are leaning towards the casino lot.

Soaring Eagle has a 'real' campground but you can just stay in casino parking lot and dry camp too.

You could also stop and stay at Hartwick Pines State Park. It is a full hookup park just of the Eway in Grayling Michigan.

Route to st Ignace

To mount pleasant follow google maps route north on INDIANA I13 to I-94 then to us 127. ( for the small toll I would suggest rather taking I90 east to I-69 to the 127also on google maps)
From there to the UP take US127 north to I-75. There is a toll at Mackinaw bridge which can’t be avoided
