Best toilet replacement

2007 3400 RL. We have been very lucky regarding the functionality of our toilet, but I think the time has come. Is the Dometic 320 still the most popular replacement? TIA.

I installed the 310 a number of years ago and have had no problems with it. Functionally, it is the same as the 320, so it's just a personal preference which one you go with (no pun intended).

The 310 is a little bit smaller than the 320

I do believe the 320 is the most popular but in your case (3400RL) you might be better off with the 310 instead due to the limited leg room in the separate toilet room of your model. The 320 being elongated requires a little more space. They are both a very good choice.

We had to use a 310 on our 2010 because the 320 would have been too long for the space, in our opinion.

Why are you in love with your toilet ? We still have the 'Stanford' toilet that came with our rig and have been on the road for 11 months with no issues, although we turn the water off to our rig if we are going to be gone for an extended time.

Kyle and lisa, the factory installed cheap tetford aqua magic had several faults. Pedal falling off, water leaking out of the bowl, and the favorite...water staying in the bowl and the valve deciding that the ghosts of hades wanted to continually fill the bowl. Mine had problems 2 and 3. Mine flooded the bathroom, bedroom, and then the basement before leaking out near the front of the unit. Fore warned, no tears when you get the same results. The dometic 310 or 320 is much higher quality.

Kyle you and Lisa have been lucky with you toilet. Are first road trip we had a leak at the air-gap on the back of the toilet and would not hold any eater in the bowl! But it worked fine at home base before we left. It's the luck of the draw if it's good or a bad one.

Maybe with a newer rig they have upgraded their toilets ? Yes I've read about past experiences that's why we shut the water off if we are gone for awhile.

320 with sprayer. I replaced ours before our first trip. We had a 320 in our previous SOB and when I saw what came with the new Montana I said "Nope!" and ordered the 320 from PPL MotorHomes. It's a much cleaner job to replace the toilet before you have ever used the head.

320

320 with a sprayer in the front bath from PPL...will replace the thetford in the half-bath as soon as the money tree grows some new leaves. This forum is hard on the money tree with the never-ending list of good ideas! I always have to explain to DW "it' not my fault - it's THEIR fault! This xxproject HAS to be done!"

Will a 320 fit in a 3402RL without repositioning the flange. I can handle the extra length forward as the sink in there is useless. BTW, has anyone replaced their sink faucet under the medicine cabinet with a usable one? If so, what did you use.

Have replaced the bath faucet in many units when bought new. I like them a little higher, more room to get my hands under running water. I just run to Lowes and pick up a bath faucet. Holes match perfectly every time which is a shock. I prefer Moen,,, but any non-plastic junk will work.

Don't think so. I got my 2018 3950BR about two months ago and the toilet wouldn't hold water. I didn't mess around with it. Installed a 310 before our first trip.

Was concerned about the length of the 320 in our smallish bathroom, but now I wish I'd gone with the bigger unit. Would be worth a bruised knee or two coming out of the shower.

We installed the 310 last year but now I think that we should have selected the 320. The 310 is nice but a little to small.
