Central Vac

Can someone report on the effectiveness of the central vac system used in the Montana? Don't know if should get rid of current house vac (Dyson). Does it really suck enough????

We love ours. Has great suction. We see no reason to take up room storing another vac.
Happy trails.....................

It's really great, good suction, good attachments. nice long hose, bags last quite awhile.
Shop vac even has a vibrator brush attachment for it that works very well.It all goes into a bag and hangs on ahook in the closet.
It's a great unit!!

Chuck loved the one in the 3670 and insisted on one in our new unit. I'm not arguing.

I was very leery that it would do the job but I was wrong. The addition of one of the various beater attachment makes it even better. I would like to see it in a better place in the 3400 as, IMO it is to far to the rear of the camper making for a long hose stretch..however , I can find no better place to put it.

Couldn't resist Phil , figured you could read that answer either way. Actually, we haven't even turned ours on yet.

Ours works great and will go from one end of the Monty to the other. Good sturdy hose. Works a lot better than I thought it would. The only drawback is the cost of the bags.

I installed a Dirt Devil early last year and the dw loves it. And as an added asset, the location beside the inside step allows me to clean out the truck also! I can also add an elbow in the basement to use it there!

We love our Dometic, it reaches both ends of the trailer but is a stretch as others have mentioned. Steve, I wish mine was close to the door would be nice to use it as a car vac as well.

Well, it looks like "sell the Dyson". Wife won't be happy about that. Never seen a woman love a vaccum so much. Oh well, she'll get over it (I hope ).

We really love our Dometic central vac. Karen had two additional vacuum cleaners, one for the house and one for the old Challenger. She didn't want to get rid of either one. Thankfully though, after using the new Dometic, she changed her mind. Wouldn't be without it.

I was skeptical of something made for the RV Industry and I was expecting junk. I was wrong and I agree with everyone else. This is a high quality unit and the hose and attachments are great. I am glad mine came with it as I never would have ordered one and we would have missed out.

I added the Dirt Devil to our rig, but haven't had the chance to use it yet (winter here). My wife doesn't know I put it in yet as I added it while she was gone on a medical mission to Africa.
A little surprise waiting for her...

I really like the vacuum, but like others, I wish the hose was just a little longer. When doing by the closet in the bedroom, I have to make sure the attachment rod is clicked all the way up so it'll reach. I even managed to vacuum out the basement by going through the laundry door. It was tricky, but it worked. I just bit the bullet and picked up a package of 10 with the filters at CW. Now I won't have to worry about it for a while. Well, quite a while...LOL

We love ours, too. And we do vacuum our truck/car if we can get the vehicles near the door.

Have to be different. It has good suction but just doesn't get it up in the bedroom area, the hose is not long enough. We kept and will keep out upright, it just does a better job all over the unit.. Wish we had not wasted the money on it.
