The 4 inch pipe that I have on hand will have to find another use. I am going with the 6 inch pipe for my 2nd install..You make mistakes...you learn...

Yep, I learned the other day when I thought I would mount the 4" pipe, that the hose I have will not fit in the pipe. Guess I should have checked first. Oh well, at least the 4" pipe was free. Now to get some 6" and try it again. Stupid question, does a 2001 3670RL have a place to store a sewer hose other than the basement? Or was the plastic pipe with the square door from the factory? I obviously don't know alot about Montana's, I found that we had a seperate gate valve for the galley by accident one day...

Life is an adventure, isn't it? I bought the 6" pipe, had to get heavy wall, schedule 40, probably twice the price and weight, but the Plumbing supply co. was out of the thinner walled pipe. So it goes, more $$ spent.
I am down in the shop drilling one of the end caps for a lock, when I get it done, I'll post it.
I will mount with 3/8" all-thread, already bent it and cut it a little oversize, will fine tune when we mount it under the FRONT, where Richfaa suggested, good call, Rich.
OOPS! Just saw you were talking about sewer hose, I am making the 6" for my 7' long folding ladder, IT won't fit the 4" pipe. Your sewer hose should fit except the end attachment, but it will fit inside the glue-on end with the spin in plug. I just crammed my length's into a 4" pipe I bought for the ladder, it will work.
Not sure about the 3670RL.

Rescue 1, that round pipe with square door is it. Same on the 3295RK.That door didn't like to stay closed so rather than lose a hose I cut the door off and cemented on a threaded piece with cap. From Home Depot. I also added two more of those pipes, also from HD, so I can carry three hoses slung beneath the rig.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
