A friend of mine has them on his fifth wheel (no level up) and forgot to loosen them. The bottom of his front storage compartment was almost destroyed pulling it a foot downwards. He had to jack it back in place and through bolt it to the front of the camper.

Slide Out Support

I have always used the Slide Out Support. I don't put them up tight, just so they touch the rails. The only reason I use them is sometimes we will have a couple of people on the couch and then 4 people sitting at the table. That is a lot of weight. I always make sure that is the first thing I remove when getting ready to leave. If it is just the two of us I don't use.
