Trailers to light for my truck
Purchased 3120 RL with generator and washer dryer both in the nose. Trailer weigh dry 12300. I pulling with a 3500 SRW with airbags. I've got the trailer hitch as low as possible with pin set at factory. The trailer is low in the rear I'm running 15 lbs in bag and have tried 5 lbs but still fifth wheel is not level. I can adjust pin box down two inches which should help but concerned on bed Side clearance. My rear truck springs are not down on the overloads. Any ideas on leveling trailer.

Don't have a reasonable answer. A dually will sit lower, or when they add IS they will match the trailer to the truck. Like I said, I don't have any reasonable answer for you.

I have a 2017 Chevy 3500 SRW and a 2015 3100rl, so trailer weight and tow vehicle are similar in weights and capacities. My Andersen Hitch ball is in its lowest position and my pinbox con go up one more notch. When I hook up my truck drops two and one quarter inches at the fender lip above the axle center and just contacts the overloads. My rig is just about perfectly level. No generator or washer/dryer. 5lbs of air in the bags should not make any difference in stance. Maybe has something to do with the air bag installation. You might take your tape measure to the Chevy dealer and compare empty heights.

How much bed rail clearance do you have now?
Are there any holes left to raise the Pinbox in the mount?

Let air out of your bags. Your bags may be keeping up the back end of your truck, which may be causing the issues of not hitting your overload. #5 still may be too much. I would fully deflate the bags, hook up and go from there. I would do this on level ground though.

They recommend at lest 5 pounds In airbags to keep them from rubbing hole in rubber material

I had a friend who bought one of the first forward living rigs. They had such little bed weight the rig would sway very badly while towing. When they ask Keystone about problem, were told to add sand bags to front compartment? They sold rig

How far off is it? A little high to the front is OK. I run 8-10 lbs in my airbags just to keep a little air in them for the seals. My Ansersen Hitch is also set to lowest. What year is the 3500? Chev or RAM? What's the height of thr tailhate from the ground? Are there any suspension lifts? Is the 3120 new?
I run slightly smaller than stock tires and had 2 of the 3 shackles removed from under the rear leaf springs. My 5er is still just a little nose high but close to level

I have a 2018 GMC HD 3500 SRW and a 2019 3120 RL Montana. I raised my pin box to the highest setting and my Anderson ball is on the lowest setting as I had the same problem you have. My truck still has 6-inch clearance on the bed rails and the vehicle and trailer are level I also have airbags and run them at 55lbs towing a loaded trailer. Tows perfectly!

I think my trailer could be a little higher in the rear also. I am considering 1" or 2" spacers at the axles.

CW installed our Pullrite slider hitch. Had another company install the TranferFlow 50 gal aux fuel tank who told us the hitch was 4" too far forward. They said the hitch needed to be over the trucks' rear axles. It cost us, but they fixed CW mistake. Being Nebies, we thought CW installed hitch correctly. Don't have a picture of truck & Monty on level pavement, but it pulls great, love our setup, now.

Why do people ask questions and then never respond to the questions others ask them in order to help solve their problem? The OP has been active on the form as recently as 5/9 but has posted no response to asked questions. I had to search his profile info to determine his TV.. 2019 Chevy 3500 SRW

Truck to light for trailer
Sorry took so long to reply back. We were finishing a 30 day shakedown run when on the last day of the trip we lost our trailer breaks. Today after refilling actuator (disk brakes) 32 ozs and proceeded to lose all on the ground we found a bleeding screw misssing. We have put around 6000 miles on trailer up and over the mountains, from FL. To WI. Twice made it home but if the plug had come out earlier we may have not made it. Picking up bleeding screw tomorrow and another 32 ozs of brake fluid. Have a appointment with dealer later.

so after all those miles - what are your thoughts on how it towed? Agreed, you got 3" to play with. My 305RL has pin box sucked up tight - have 6" to rail but still need it raised even after going to 85 tires vs stock, gain 1/2" When the eagle drops $7000 on us, will go to IS suspension

Tows great however being low in rear bugs me. All fifth wheels in past have been level. Taking truck in Monday to raise pin up 2 inches this should work.

I'm going "IS" - solves several of my concerns, but like you would prefer to be level - ie get the tail up
