50 Amp Power Cord

I always bring our 50 amp cord along camping......... You never know when you might need to
pull some ones truck out of the mud..... Ha. Ha.
Acually we were out RVing for three weeks in July and one of the parks we were in only had 50 amp Service.
Glad we had it along.

I never thought I would need a 50 to 30 adapter, but now I see yet another item to stow...

Wouldn't be bad if the 50 amp to 30 amp Adapter the RV Dealer gives you, would plug into your trailer, but they don't, you can only use them on the male end of the 50 amp monster cord. But I guess thats better then nothing
.
If you can only get 30 amps from the Park, it is nice having a 30 amp cord that plugs right into the Monty.

I bought a short 50 to 30 cord, then plug a 30 to 15 amp adaptor in, for just sitting in the yard.
Thay have as many adaptors as we have need for them, it's always a few more bucks!

If you store that 50 amp cord in a laundry basket it works reasonably well to feed it into the basket as you rotate the basket, rather than trying to feed and coil into a stationary basket. The warmer the temperature the better it works. At 28 degrees F it's a bear, basket or no. I tend to toss it in the bed of the truck and wait to put it in the basket until we've reached warmer weather.
