Almost Montana Owners

Hi Montana Owners;

We are Nick and Susie Sanders and will take delivery on a 2010 Montana 2955RL at the end of this month (hopefully). We are presently in a Keystone Everest 343L which we have owned for 3 years and received a good trade in for the Montana. This rig is beautiful to look at but has proven to be a poorly constructed unit. It is also a bit heavy for our 2500 Chev Duramax and large for our needs. We previously owned a Keystone Sprinter 28ft fifth wheel which was definitely an entry level RV but a lot of fun for RVing while I was still working. We were reluctant to purchase another Keystone product after the Everest but after looking the Montana over, the quality of workmanship is far superior to the Everest. We use our rig about 5 out of the 12 months on 4 to 8 week trips and in between live in our home in Clovis, California and take time to visit our two daughters and our 3 grandkids.

We are really excited to get the new fiver and also to participate in the MOC events when possible. We were at the Seven Feathers RV resort in Oregon last spring when we were invaded by many Montanas and thought at that time we would enjoy attending an event like that. we look forward to reading and participating in the MOC forums.

Welcome Nick and Susie,

As you can see we also have a 2955RL and just love it for our type of traveling. We just got back from Quartzsite which was our first MOC Rally and had a great time and met a lot of new friends.(I hope ) Anyway we are also going to Lake Siskiyou in May for our second rally. Check into it and see if you can make it, I believe that you will have a great time. Hope you enjoy your new rig which I am sure you will. And travel safe.

Rich & Kathy.

Congratulation on the Montana purchase!
I think you will enjoy it to the fullest. There are several Montana rallies each year and I believe you would enjoy attending most any of them. You are getting a nice unit and I wish you many years of enjoyable camping with it. Welcome to the Montana forum.

Welcome and we hope you enjoy it when you get it. We are on our second Montana and have not had a problem with either one. You will enjoy the rallies. We have plans to go to 5 this year.

Nick & Susie, Congrats from another new 2955 owner. Pick-ed up ours in Nov but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Can't wait till better weather. We already have lots of weekends booked. We've been busy customizing it more to our liking. New lighting, new locks on the storage doors, little things here and there to make it just the way we want. Again congrats

Looks like yours will be in the same run as ours. If you are getting the Mocha color then they will be twins. It's hard to wait to get her. Maybe we will meet up on the trail somewhere.
