Slide Operation normal?

I have a 2020 3790RD with kitchen and dining slides on a shared hydraulic motor.
Recently when I push the slide switch the “bottom only” of the kitchen side will push out about 6”- 8” then the hydraulics will move to the dining room side will open fully ( less resistance). It will switch back to push out the kitchen side finally popping out the top and leveling off. My service center says this is normal, but I don’t remember the large tilt of the slide during the process. Is this I have a 2020 3790RD with kitchen and dining slides on a shared hydraulic motor.

NO, it's not normal. You have something causing binding that keeps the top of the slide from moving out. It may just be as simple as having the slide adjusted. Hopefully you can find a person qualified to adjust the slide.

Agreed, not normal. The way they move out (one slide, then the other) is ok. The top sticking like that is not ok.

On my 2019 3791RD, the sequence is as you describe. Kitchen slide begins to move slightly, about 3" out, then the dining slide goes all the way out, then the kitchen slide goes out. It generally goes out fairly level. When closing, the slide does lift a tiny bit at the end just before it snuggles up to the side of the rig. Nowhere near the anlge in your picture. I have the residentail fridge and stove in that slide so it is definitely heavier.

Mine goes about as Robert’s does above. They tilt a little when they start out, but not as much as the op’s picture. Maybe 2 or 3 inches.

Very simple to check the vertical clearance at top of the hydraulic slide and adj8st to correct if needed..

My two main hydraulic slides motion sequence is exactly like yours when they start opening .. my tilt angle is maybe 2 to 3 inches on initial opening sequence ..

When the base kicks out, you cannot push the top out it will move so that alleviates the thought that it might be stuck seals. I’m going to get it back in the shop and have them re-align it. Thank you to all.
