Dinette table & 4 chairs

We used to have a 2011 Montana with a stand alone table and 4 chairs. Our new Montana has a small slide-in table and two chairs. An outside TV area is built into a cabinet under the table.

We would like to have a dinette table and 4 chairs like was in our 2011 Montana. I would take out the TV enclosure.

Does anyone know where I could get a dinette table and chairs like was in an older unit?

Camping world sell a lot of RV furniture. I am sure you might find something there that you would like..

I think your best bet is to find out the name of the furniture supplier for the montana line and contact them OR a trailer salvage yard in your area, indiana, or southern Michigan. That hunk of metal through the wall for the outside television will be an expensive thing to remove and repair as it will interfere with the two chairs next to the slide out wall. Good luck.

There is a forum section for items wanted to buy. Might want to list there as sometimes people remove them to set up an office in that space. You never know until you ask and you might find exactly what you want at a bargain. I have seen members give things for free to other members.

Two suppliers I have used is Trekwood, https://www.trekwood.com/index and Bontragers, http://bontragers.com/. Never tried any furniture yet, but they do list several items. Bontrager's specifically states Dinette tables.

Your dining room setup should be the same as my 3790RD. The table will slide out so you can seat 4. And you should've had 4 chairs in the rig when you bought it. 2 regular and 2 fold up chairs - the fold ups were in my underbed storage when I got mine. And unless there's another reason why you want a stand alone dinette set, and don't have the 2 fold up chairs - you might even call Keystone and see if you can buy 2 fold up chairs from them. Certainly a lot cheaper that a whole dinette set.

Dinette table

Our current table could accomodate chairs - however, we much prefer the table and chairs in our 2011 3400RL and would like to put that same table and chairs in our new unit. I would like to remove the cabinet around the outside TV and have those extra inches at the dining area.

I don’t know so I will ask. Will your slides all close if you add a table that big where there was there was a smaller table?

My current 3811MS has an outside TV on the other side of the wall from the dinette. Inside, there is a "cabinet: that houses the outside TV and the structure for the current wall-mounted table. I plan to remove the outside TV, the inside "cabinet" and the wall mounted dinette.

The slide dimensions are the same as my 2011 3400RL.

Plus, the table like the one in my 2011 would swivel to the short side so the slide would close.

Yes, that is our unit. I just like the chairs and table in my 2011 unit better.

I have a 2020 3854BR and within a week the two extra fold up chairs for the dinette that are grey cloth broke through the wood where the pins are under the seat when my 165 lb son sat in them in the bunk area at the desk. The wood they use is a very soft pine and the pin holes are placed along the edge so they will simply split the chair frame. I tossed them in the dumpster. Called both dealer and keystone to buy 2 more of the fixed dinnette chairs and was told, oh we can’t get those anymore. Keystone has a massive importer of cheap Chinese made chairs that they order from the massive supplier there in Goshen IN and they never know when and what he will have in inventory. After big production runs they often are forced to change styles, material patterns and colors based on availability. In other words you are SOL. I’m just going to a local furniture store and getting something as close as possible and calling it a day.
