Andersen Hitch Question
I currently have a Husky hitch. And I'm wondering if I would have to relocate my rails for the Andersen hitch. Andersen is closed today. So can't call them.

No, the rail version is designed to go on standard rails. There is a 4" set back from center but that typically doesn't hurt anything, and usually helps a little.
Is the center line between the rails directly over the axle or slightly in front of it?

Over the axle. Do you have short or long bed.

Did you face the coupler toward the trailer or the truck. Mine is a short bed also.

The hitch is set offset to the rear. The pin coupler is set forward toward the truck. That gives you a total of 9" setback when towing and is also helpful when hooking up with the extra space between tailgate and trailer.

I finally went with an Anderson Hitch as well. Mounted directly to my bed rails that were used by my Curt Hitch and Reese before that. Just a reminder, not only can you swap ends with the tripod that mounts to your bed rails or pucks ... you can also mount the pin box adapter either direction as well. That gives even more options to get the fiver sitting on your truck where you want it.
