Kitchen/Appliance Slide 09 3400RL

Over the last few days we have had some extreme winds and naturally this includes dust storms. I noticed that on our bottom corners of the kitchen/appliance slide when in the extended position, that both dust and sand entered the inside of the Monty. The slide itself is sealing well on both sides and top. Further investigation we noted that the seals in this particular area do not meet and allow the above to happen. We have had no problems with rain coming in that area as it is deflected. If you use a flashlight from the outside corners you can see light from the inside.
Has anyone encountered this and if so how was it repaired or remedied?
We will be taking the Monty into our Dealership this coming week for a number of warranty concerns and will be adding this to our list.

When our rig is parked no problems in that area, but when we are on the road and it's raining or very dusty, stuff comes in at the corner by the stove. We have an appointment at the service center for something else but they will try to take care of that issue. If I remember I will post a fix. Stacy

We can still find Arizona Beige dust in the 3400 after our winter in Arizona 3 years ago. Winds rocked the unit many times and we could draw a picture in the dust on the counter top. There are scores of places that fine dust can enter. In a very high Arizona wind a paper towel on the table would blow off. We went directly to Florida.
