Snow in K.C.

Just broke a tow rope pulling a Ryder rental delivery truck out of the ditch on my hill.
You lucky Southerners!

We don't care about no stinking Global warming. Lets just keep on doing what we are doing....Don't worry about it.. The quote

" men come and go but earth abides" comes to mind... Mother nature will deal with mankind in her own way.

It just started snowing here again less than 30 minutes ago, and it is really coming down. They say, 4 inches?

We have basically had snow ON the ground for over 3 weeks, maybe close to 4 weeks now. Sure, we had a couple of days that got warm, and 36 hours ago it was about 55 degrees, most of the snow did melt, but, still had spots in the yard with remants and the piles around the driveway are still there.

Sure, I live in Michigan, but, this is not "normal" for us. We used to get snow, maybe a lot of snow, but, it would melt and we would wait another 10 days, and maybe more.

Oh, and there has been a lot of ice, rain on frozen gravel roads turn said roads into ice rinks, hockey anyone??

Currently: 22.3 degrees, that is the F scale, NOT the C scale.

I don’t wish to start a religious debate or anything like that but
look in the book of Genesis chapter 8, verse 22.
That is what I agree with so I don’t intend to worry about global warming!
Just my .02 cents worth.

OZZ:
If you are running out of snow, I can bring you a load tomorrow (Wednesday). I am heading your way from N.E. Iowa. Got to have Christmas this coming weekend in Shawnee West off of Shawnee Pkwy. I'll have to drive the 4 wheel drive pickup with the snow. Probably be a 7 hour trip that usually takes 5 hours....JB

Jim, It is cold here today (Del Rio/47 deg). My sympathies to you and Sue. It is supposed to be warmer tomorrow, think I'll go fishing. Have a wonderful Holiday. Bob

Haw haw, I know, I deserve it, we kidded our friends last year, when we were at the beach this time of the year. But you know, it is beautiful.
I am sitting in my office, right next to one of my new super insulated windows I put in the house, it's as clear as if there is no glass. In the darkness, the street light is glowing and little sparkles of light from the snowflakes are highlighting what looks like a coat of soft cotton on the ground. The deer are walking by, and all is good at the Ozz house.

Merry Christmas Ozz!

Thanks for the pictures.

Stay warm. I much prefer your pictures from the beach. I'm sure you know which ones I'm talking about.

Enjoy,

Dennis

Ozz,

No snow here, been there done that last week. That stuff sure is purty when it is all white and hasn't been tromped on or driven over. We are having some cold weather here near Glaveston so we are finding out that we can run the fireplace and two heaters to keep the RV warm. When you are staying in the Monty full time you can learn alot more than the occasional campout.

Hope you and Sue have a Merry Christmas. We will spend the holiday at home and then off to Kerville for New Years, and then back to Bacliff to work Ike again.

You are such a great guy pulling someone out of a ditch. Of course I knew that the first time I met you.

Colleen

Merry Christmas Ozz and Sue.
