swivel wheel trailers

Would like to hear from anyone using a swivel wheel trailer on their 5th wheel. We have a 3400RL. I have a BMW motorcuycle I would love to bring along. I'm using a F-250 diesel 4x4 6.0 powestroke to pull it with.

Thanks
marc

We are full-timers, I've pulled my GoldWing on a swivel wheel for over 2 years. Had problems with the OE Carlisle tires, has been OK since I changed brands last winter. We mounted a camera, and have Pressure-Pro on all trailer tires.

We have towed in nearly every state (including California, Florida and the east coast), with no problems. In a 3400, the water tank is in the rear, and I usually keep just a minimum of water in it to offset the hitch weight. Rig will fishtail some with a full water tank.

I keep the speeds down, and try not to exceed 60- even downhill.

We are licensed and legal in Texas...and I'm a tourist.

Just got my swivel wheel this summer and towed it to Arkansas and then out to Colorado. I've got an 1100 Virago that weighs in at about 500# so its not as heavy as the Harleys. I have the single wheel and dual attach points and have added a Pressure Pro monitoring system to let me know if/when the wheel blows out or goes flat. I put a standard motorhome hitch (bolt on) on the back of my 3400RL and moved the rear stablizers forward (I used the "old" front bolt hole as the "new" rear bolt hole). I'll try and post pics when I get the correct cable for my camera!
