2008 CHEVY DURAMAX OWNERS

Have any of you with the '08 Chevy Duramax had any maintenance issues to date? If so, could you elaborate? May be buying a new one here soon.....

Thanks

We just bought a 2008 silverado 3500HD LTZ Ext. Cab, long box and we love it. Traded in the 2004 Silverado as the mileage was low and good value. We have had no problems with the 2004 and have only towed the 3400rl a few hundred miles so far, but are very pleased with the extra power.

I have a 2008 Bowtie, 4dr 4wheel dr, dualie with the D/A, LTZ, other than a couple of gizmo problems ie: back up alarm and a recall on the driver side air bag it seems to be doing pretty well. The air bag deal was an electrical fix. Nice truck.

Just towed the 3400 back from FL.the only problem was a drain hose came off the moon roof, and it let water leak on the rear carpet.Fun truck to drive, loads of power.

Phil, our 2007.5 New body style is basically the 2008. As seen from our signature, we tow a 3400 and the truck and 5ver are great combo and the truck really performs. It's a loaded 3/4 and our first diesel. We get about 14 mpg towing and around 20-21 without rv. I'm not a lead foot driver. Dennis
