Fridge will not work on gas

I had the 5er hooked up at home to electricity and fridge work fine, cooled down over night. Took off Friday morning and got to our campsite at about 11am and there were no hookups at this campground. Wife turned the fridge on auto. The next morning she notices the check light on and the items in the fridge are not real cold. Turned off fridge and tried to light several times on the gas mode and will not light. The pilot is getting gas just not lighting. Any ideas?? anyone have same or similar problem????

See my post of June 13th regarding this problem. Do a search for "thermocouple" and you'll be sent to the area of the post. Good luck with getting the problem solved.

Mine did the same thing. Fortunately we were still under warranty and just sent Rosie to the dealer for repairs. We are fixed up now.

If you had no electrical hookup it is possible your battery was low enough the fridge's board won't trigger the igniter. Also check for spiderwebs or other impediments in the gas tube, letting a little gas through but not enough. This happened on our water heater.

If it still won't light try hookup up the umbilical to the truck and let the truck engine run while you try to light off the fridge on gas so the truck's battery is in play. On ours the truck engine has to be running or it won't suck juice from the truck's battery.
