2010 Hickory Edition 366re

I just bought this 5th wheel from a private insurance. It was stolen and they took the stereo system out of the cabinet. Im wanting to replace it with the original that was in the unit. I called Montana and they had 3 different suggestions that were put in that particular model? Also wanting to know if anyone out there has the same RV and what system do you have in it? They also stole the speakers too!!!

If at all possible I would install something other than the original. The OEM stereos were not very good

Exactly what Charlie said, plus it will probably be cheaper.

Agree with Charlie and Tom. A golden opportunity to install what YOU want and like.

i am wondering what was originally in the trailer it would have to run on 12 volt or 110 volt . i know it was a 40 inch samsung tv and there was one yamaha speaker hanging from the ceiling . this trailer has the rear fireplace and the desk on left and stereo cabinet on the right .the cabinet has two doors and one shelf inside it . i would really like to know what was in the trailer originally but the dealer or manufacturer does not know . why have a vin#and model number .they are useless.

40" Samsung sounds right for the tv and I think they were mated with a Samsung DVD player (at least that is what our 2011 model has). The living room models were strictly 110V AC). Some models were equipped with a 19" Jensen 12V DC television in the bedroom. You will be much better off getting a good replacement of your liking since what was in there would already be three years outdated.

Ours came with a samsung home entertainment center and samsung speakers. So far it works fine for us, others not so good. The system you're talking about is a 110 system. The 12v would be the TV in the bedroom if you have the option of using it on a mount in the basement. Ours is a RE, but it's a 3665 so yours may be different than ours. As Charlie and Tom have said get an after market system, but you might want to stay with samsung because of some of the tricks you can do with the TV and only having to have one controller (although that can be fixed in a variety of ways).

Yep, Samsung all around here in our 2010 and it's fine enough for us. We do like having the one controller though.
