Maybe Water problem solved

Water was coming in along the slides when it rained, especially if it was windy. We have friends who have a two year old Montana and they have had significant leaks but have worked through it all and are okay now. Finally decided that even though we caulked earlier with stuff from the RV store which was recommended, that we would go a step farther. We have caulked every nook and crannie we could find, around windows, seems, etc. etc. So far all has been okay with the last rain. So, time will tell. Hopefully we have corrected the situation.

Frank, You may already know this but if you caulk around the windows make sure to leave the weep holes open on the bottom of the window. I have actually heard stories of windows being put in upside down with these openings facing up. I don't know if that is true or not since I have never seen it.

I had weep holes get plugged up with dirt and debris. It should up as a major leak after a very hard rain. I opened the weep hole (slot actually) with a sharp knife. Fixed!
