Fire Pit

Wondering if we are permitted to have a fire pit at the campground.

There is a nightly campfire for all to enjoy, but if you want to be by your camper, you can. One of the ideas behind the rally is to meet new people. We carry a portable gas fireplace, since they ban wood fires in the National Forests near us because of the risk of forest fires. Hope you enjoy the rally.

Unless things have changed, the fairgrounds was very protective of their grass and a real fire pit is probably not allowed.

It is not in the best interest of our MOC members to have individual fire pits due to the close proximity of our rigs in the campground, as a result the wagon master team strongly discourages their use. The bonfire held each night hopefully satisfies everyones desire to relax around the fire and meet old friends and make new ones.

In all the years we have been attending the rally, we have never seen a fire pit allowed.

This being our 1st rally was unsure if The Solo Fire Pit was making the trip too. Guess she is staying home.Looking forward to sitting around the campfire with y’all.
Thank you for your replies…..See you in Goshen
