Self leveling bump

I just purchased a 2014 Montana. I am a Camp Fire Survivor (Nov 8, 2018 Northern California fire - California’s Largest and deadliest fire). I keep noticing what I think are the self leveling jacks bumping and making the trailer shake. Please tell me what to do. I also have another question. I plan on removing the dining table and putting a heavy deak in its place. Do I need to put jack stands under the slide out for extra support in order to not damage the slide out? Thanks in advance!

Jack stand supports under the slide are not needed or recommended. Jeffba's post about stiction is what is needed to stop the "bumps".

Jack stands under the slide are a really good way to damage the slide if the rig settles at all. Many of us that full time have replaced a lot of the furniture with heavy stuff, but never use jack stands of any type.

New and way over my head

I’m a Camp Fire Survivor (Northern California, November 2018 - California’s largest and deadliest fire. I recently purchased a 3014 Montana to live in full time and need help. Is is supposed to remain on the self levelers all of the ti
E or do they need to be replaced by jack stands? The reason I’m asking is because the self levelers make noise and shake the trailer every so often is this normal? Also wondering about needing jackstands under slide so I can remove dinette and replace with my heavy desk. W.S. t to avoid damage to slide. Thank you in advance!
