Please help me!!! MASSIVE WATER LEAK

I need help ASAP. My 2008 Montana 3500rl has a leak that flooded my underbelly. Its a water leak behind the shower surrounded. There are 4 waterlines running up behind my shower surrounded. 2 are the hot and cold lines running to the shower control. The other 2 go up the wall farther. Water is leaking from one of them. Where do they run? What are these lines? I have no other faucets around there. I moved RV lots this morning. Around 200 feet away. Anyone know where these might lead?? They are tied together to the wall behind the shower control. I really don't want to remove the glass shower surround

Almost certainly the backflow preventer valve. In a lot of units, it is in the wall behind the shower. However, this only happens when you are backflushing. So maybe I am wrong on this.

I did run the black tank flush. After I turned it off is when I heard the water leaking.

Check under the bathroom sink for the backflow preventer ~~ either there or behind the shower wall. Might find it by removing the box with the shower handle. Lowes will have a brass one.

It’s probably the back flow valve, like has been said before. Take it off and reconnect the two pipes and mosey over to the nearest trash can and throw it away, problem solved. It will never happen again.
It’s a government safety thing that isn’t needed. The manufacturers haft to install them. Just get rid of it.

If you still want a backflow preventor, many of us use an exterior one.

More than likely it is the back flow valve. I accessed mine from the pantry which is adjacent to the shower. I have a panel that you can remove. I had to close the pocket door at top of steps to see the valve. I had trouble getting to it so I cut another hole in pantry and then after removing valve and hooking two lines together i put the cut out panel back in.

This is a photo of where our valve is located behind the pantry. This is viewed through the pocket door opening.

Mine has those same 4 lines running up behind the shower. Two for the shower and two for the black tank anti siphon valve. That valve is between the shower wall and my entry closet. The picture below show after I removed the valve. Note that the lines have pink stuff in them after winterizing.

The shower faucet is behind the white plastic cover above and right. I had to cut a new opening to reach the anti siphon valve. Then I used that cutout part, made a picture frame for it, and used it as a cover for the new opening.

Just cut it off behind the convinces center and hook the line together so you don't it happen aging. You don't need it but if you want one get one that goes on the water hose.

I just flooded my bedroom as my back flow preventer was under my bathroom sink! I just went into bay cut the lines hooked them back together WITHOUT the preventer. I did notice that the hose connector for the power flush has its own spring loaded back flow preventer! 2014 3150rl

suggestion. don't do the back flush. wait until you have the black water nearly full and dump then.

Disagree. The back flush is a helpful tool in keeping the black tank clean. The back flush is not the problem so why eliminate that. The problem is the unneeded back flow valve. Eliminate the problem and enjoy the convenience of the flusher.

I replaced mine with a residential valve. A little more, but no more water where I don't want it. This is the link to the pics.
