Sierra Vista, AZ

We'll be stopping in Sierra Vista to visit an old friend. Any suggestions for campgrounds in the area would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Jo-Anna

David we were there last Jan and stayed in Benson Az its about 30 miles from Sierra Vista its just off I-10 very nice place. Think it was pass port america. I lived in or on FT Huachuca Az. for 6 years and really like the area. If your retired Military you can stay on Ft Huachuca, very nice Rv park. I can't remember the other park its on the Road to TomeStone Az. Good Luck.... GBY....

Jo-Anna,
We are not familiar with parks in Sierra Vista but Tombstone Territories on Hwy 82 between hwy's 90 & 80 is nice. There are also several nice parks in Benson, if you are interested in Benson we can name a few for you. We are in St. David right now and will be near the intersection of hwy's 90 & 82 starting Sunday. If time permits let us know, we would like to see you again and show you part of this very interesting area

David and Joanna: We stayed at the Tombstone Territories just out of Sierra Vista Winter before last - it is a clean Good Sam and Passport Park - nothing fancy but centrally located - you'll find them on the Web.

Have fun!
