Space between awnings

I have a 2019 3930 fb. There is a 2 1/2 foot space between the front awning and back awning. When it rains my steps are always wet. Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance Bill.

That is a problem that has alot of people including us in your same situation. The door is next to the slide and you all know the rest of the story.

I had a deisel pusher with a door awning so that was my first thought. Can't do it because the awning arm and light are in the way. Thanks for the response

Could you use a manual opening awning above the light..? I have also seen those on the sides of diesel pushers, like over a single window.

No the awning arm bracket is 4 inches from the left side of the door and it goes almost to the roof. Thanks

This complaint goes back to 2006, if not before. Here are some previous Threads on the issue.

Bottom line, there doesn't appear to be a good, neat, professional looking solution. A PVC framed awning (unfortunately the pictures are long gone - thanks TinyPic) or an umbrella (Golf sized stuffed between the awning and the slide) are the choices of last resort
