Lunch in Arizona UPDATE!

11:30 on Monday, March 11, 2013

Porter's Cafe
404 W. Main
Superior, AZ
520-689- 5003

This is DQDICK's " area" currently working in. Come and hope it is warm and we can eat outside! . Please leave a message on here.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Porte...47415181949331

I have invited a couple who are former owners of a Montana and another couple (family) from here in the park. . In fact, Bob has been (recruiting) inviting Montana owners here in our current park. So far, no one is a MOC member, but.... you never know!

Won't you invite a couple from your park or neighbor?

Kind of early to trust the forecast, but right now it shows 76 and sunny. We'll be there.

I think we are leaving the 13th, and will go down on this side of the city, off of the 10. Would love to see all of you again. Another time. OR, you could drive over to Tonopah...

Mynabird... sorry but Kate and I wont be there. The two of us and the Doodles reluctantly left Lake Roosevelt this morning and moved on heading to New Mexico where we have reservations on Monday-Weds at Rockhound State Park in Deming. Currently in Roper Lake SP in Safford.

Hope you guys didn't get washed away yesterday. It rained like a bear all day at Roosevelt.

See you guys hopefully next year out this way!

. IF you insist! Actually "if" you could stay in Safford through Monday and take a day trip up to Clifton and Morenci to a copper mining town which happens to be in Greenlee County! You will have several picture opportunities up there!.

We stayed in Safford for 3 days in December and did this trip. I have pics of the area, but we could not go on up further because of elevation/breathing issues! I'd love to see pictures of the higher elevations we were unable to go to.

All day it alternated between rain, wind, sun at least 3X during the day and then last night I thought we were going to be transported to Kansas per the yellow brick road! It would not have surprised me to have something fly thru the window! It was 8:30-9 last evening so we could not see a thing! Coleen and Ray's flag pole broke/snapped and fell! Everyone is ok.

I bet DQDICK had some weather too!

Oh, Greg, that is another place you NEED to visit before you leave this area and take picture. Boyce Arbortorium! It in itself is an all day trip!!! Seriously! Google these places. You will not be sorry!

OH So many places to see .... but we've run out of time this year. Kate is getting like the proverbial cow headed for the barn, and I'm trying to hold her back.

We drove by Boyce the other day when we did the Apache Trail Loop and I said to Kate that we need to put that on the list for next winter.

We'll be headed back out in September for the winter but it's getting near boating season on the coast and we have a new boat with only 10 hrs on the engine waiting for us....

Have a great lunch guys... We'll miss ya but we look forward to more nights around the fire in the future.

You were right, we did have some fun yesterday. We were right in the clouds for a few moments and managed to have a lightning strike during that time. Once was enough on that. Been there, done that and hope I'm not there again.

We can share "storm stories" at lunch!

Greg, ok! You cannot say I did not try! Enjoy the "open land and water"! Tell Kate I said "hi"!
