Head and shoulders above anything we have ever seen, or stayed at. Decided to not drive any further South, winter is Ok in Vegas....

Jim and Sue,
Looks nice. What is the name? Is it simply Las Vegas Resort? Thanks, Dennis.

Jim,
You're right winter is not bad in Vegas. Some chilly weather but almost always sunny. We'll drop in and see you late Nov. if you're still there

Dennis: http://tinyurl.com/LVResort here is a good link for it.
Dick, there are higher rates for the first month, Tax, I think, then lower the second and on, month's. There is a $75.00 cap on electrical usage, and different rates for the size and niceness of the lot, (asphalt only, then landscaping, pull through and back in's) like that.
Bill-N-Donna, I saw the local RV Repair guy, I might hit him up for a job, just for something to do. I might also look around for some volunteer repair-type work, don't know how to go about that..
8.1al, please do. We had the $5.00 Chicken pot pie, it was super-big and super good, Sue couldn't eat all of hers.
racerjoe, not sure, haven't made it there yet, but I can see the big tower from here, we are at Boulder and Nellis Blvd.

Wow........thats a nice looking place Ozz. And its right around the corner and I didn't even look at it. Oh well, live and learn. Will stay there the next time for sure.
So your statement I see is winter in Las Vegas!! Hmmmmmm, lot rent may be ok, electricity has a cap, but my guess is the gambling has no limits????? LOL Good luck buddy!!! That place is a huge no no for us for the winter. I don't have the will power to stay out of them casino's.......lol

Dave, I will try and stay out of them, we have many Casino's in K.C., so I have worked a little on the will-power deal, not perfect yet, but a work-in-progress.
I'm looking for a bike trail route now, I would get creamed on the streets around here.
I will post all the info I got on the Phoenix RV Resort search.

Jim and Sue,
Thanks for the additional info and the link. And congratulations to Sue for her big win! My DW did something similar earlier this year when we were at the 7 Feathers Casino and RV Resort. She loves to play those penny machines. Way too much work for me but keeps her busy. We normally stay south of Vegas in a little town called Laughlin. But we do like to get into Vegas from time to time. The park you listed sounds like one of the nicer ones and fairly reasonable too! If you do decide to stay in Vegas you should have a decent winter. It does rain and snow from time to time but is generally a very nice place to spend a winter season. Enjoy! Happy Trails, Dennis

We stayed there this spring and agree, it was of the best that we have stayed at. Very nice people in the office too.
