Wi Fi antenna

We have had a lot of problems with RV camps that have very poor Wi Fi service. Looking to put an antenna on our Monty to improve reception. Looking for something simple that we can plug into a USB port. Has anyone had any experience in this area? Hope you can help.

I tried a product called Wi-Fire by hfield technologies. It didn't pull in anymore than the built-in antennae in my laptop. I returned it and got my money back (around $100 I think) but was out the shipping costs.

I've found another product which I might try. I would like to hear from someone who has first hand experience with this one:

It's a bit pricey but if it works as they say it does I would buy.

I have Hawking Technology Hi Gain Wireless G USB Dish Adapter HWU8DD. It is directional and works great. I couldn't get the laptop on when we got here and the Hawking on the desktop got right in with no problem. Around $75.
Happy trails...........................

I use a Netgear usb adapter which comes with a 6' cable and I added another 6'. This lets me put in whichever window is facing the wifi antenna. This helps a lot, but the Hawking dish looks as tho it may be better yet.

If enough of us complain to CGs about poor wi-fi signals, maybe they'll get the message and install amps or additional antennas?! It's getting better, but we can still offer encouragement.
