Replacing Screw Cover Vinyl

Due to a recent hailstorm the screw cover vinyl on my 2010 Mountaineer got broken in several places where the rubber roof and the fibreglass sides meet. I see on the internet that you can buy replacement vinyl in rolls of 50 feet which is probably pretty close to what I need. Has anyone done this and is it much of a job?
Thanks

Easy, done it multiple times. Just prep the front edge with a diagonal cut to help with the pull and have someone feeding as you slide in. couple of screws front and back and job done. Usually three colors on the shelf, white beige black. Couple of widths, so match what you are replacing.

I agree with Mike with one exception. I don't pull it in along the track anymore. I squeeze the two outside edges causing it to bow up in the center. Place it in the track then press the center until it locks in on both edges. Saves the need for a second person and doesn't stretch the material. Jim
