I'm actually not answering your question, but making a suggestion plan a day trip to Valley of Fire State Park - about 45 minute drive from LV - great place with beautiful views!

X2 on Las Vegas RV resort. It is about 300 yards to Sam's Town Casino. Spaces were a little close, but location, location, location, and we were not concerned with security.

The Valley of Fire is a great suggestion. You can get a "two-fer" if you follow the road (check the mapping) and take a right towards Hoover Dam, then come back on the faster roads. Make sure you have your camera for the Vally of Fire, and it is a fairly clear day.

Happy trails.

Bob be very careful out there when we were leaving vegas on the way to williams I got a ticket in boulder and the ticket said "Improper turn at a intersection" and cost me 505.00$. I don't think those folks like tourist all that much LOL and rednecks even less.
