When will it rain?

We are leaving Monday for Goshen and hope to find cooler weather soon.

I'm sorry, I can't bring my raincloud to Calif. Too far. Rained last night here in NC. Rained while we were in Ohio too.

Don, I feel your pain, I'm in Yuma and right now I'm looking at 110 with humidity at 23%...I can only dream of 105 at mid day! We get up around 5:00am and the temp is still in the 90's...arrrrch! I keep hearing, it will cool down in a couple of weeks, well.... bah humbug! It ain't happening. Mel is up in Washington State right now working and reports that it's in the 70's and sometimes low 80's. Wouldn't that be nice? Sometimes I do miss Washington State, oh hum.

If you want rain, bring yourself to SE Texas!!! It rains here just about everyday. Read in the Houston paper this morning that this has been the second wettest summer since 1882 that did not have a major hurricane and those were in 1900 and 1915. Have the A/C running 24-7 in the Montana to keep the moisture down to prevent mildew. We grow big mosquitoes and alligators......

We had a thunder storm and a downpour in North Idaho last night. Our town was without power for over 3hrs. I had to put the generator on the porch in order to watch tv.

We packed up the trailer and dogs, and headed up to the Sierras which is two hours away from home. Leaving the 103-107 temps behind

Outside of Grass Valley, it was raining...big drops and the temp. gage on the pickup said the outside temp. was 100%.
I thought our pickups gage was off, so we pulled out the little digital one in the trailer...yep! 100%

It did rain a little, a couple good down pours, but all it did was clean the air, and tone down the dust. We had to run our air conditioner in the trailer until the early evening.

This weather is so crazy, it seems to be backwards...during the usual hot periods it was mild, now as we move into Autum things seem to be heated up

My sister is at Grass Vally for the dog show this weekend, she said it was hot up there too.

Sure wish you people down there would share a little of the rain with the panhandle.It is dry as a bone here and our Lake Meredith hits a record low level every day,down over 50ft.from full.

Hey Don,

Funny you should mention the Indians. We are currently at the 7 Feathers RV Resort. And last night they had a bunch of drums down at the campfire area. Lots of singing and drumming but I don't think there was any dancing.

It was HOT all the way to Oregon. We stayed at Corning a couple of nights and it was 101 to 104 there. Here at 7 Feathers it is running about 85 or so. Much nicer. So hurry up and get out of there. We'll be waiting for you.

You are more than welcome to join us in central Texas also. We have now set a record for the most rain from January to August (over 45 inches). Our normal rainfall is about 20 inches a year. Normally in the summer I only have to cut grass about once a month. This year its every week! Hope things get better for you eventually.

I'm glad that you are able cut your grass once a week. It has been too wet for the last two weeks for me to mow. I am trying to figure out how to install pontoons on the mower, grass is about to get out of control. Three inches in the rain gauge today!!!!!

well I dont know who did the weather dance but last night was a lot cooler had to have a sheet over me.
