Montana 34 5er

I have just purchased a 2006 Montana 34 5er. What is the best towing rig --a duelly or just 4x4 diesel. Any help will be great. The two of us plan on being filltimers in about 6 months.

Do a search on the site, there are many threads and just as many opinions. Bottom line is you need enough truck, but the other choices are all yours, and whatever brand and bed length you like.

Good question, however, opinions are greatly diversified as to the answer. Some choose 3/4-ton while others choose 1-ton. Some choose dually while others choose single rear wheel. Some choose 2x4, others 4x4. Some choose longbox while others choose short. Everyone grabs his verbal sword and defends his choice to the death. All the above has, is and will do the job, so it becomes a matter of what you determine makes yu feel safe and what brand you like. The perfect, agreed upon answer will not be in the offing. Happy hunting....

Welcome ss12385 to the MOC family.

What Stiles is telling you is true.

In many cases the best way to see what we are all using is to simply look at our individual signatures
or take a look at the Owners Rigs Pages for an actual photo of their recommendations.

Over the years I have found that whatever they are using is what they will recommend. Right or wrong, our male egos won't allow us to say anything else.
