I don't take it as you being a pest. You have legitimate questions of which the answers need clarification.

What I mean by how it's towed;
1. At what speed do you tow?
2. How often do you stop and check the tires?
3. Do you adjust your speed according to road conditions?
4. Do you tow overloaded?
5. Do you lower your speed when towing in extreme heat conditions?
6. Do you consistently put side stress on the tires by turning extremely sharp, or jacknifing the trailer while backing to get it where you want it?
7. Do you avoid obstacles such as curbs, potholes, rocks or other debris?

What I mean by where it's towed;
1. Do you tow only on the main 4 lane or interstate highways?
3. Do you travel on secondary two lane roads?
4. Do you travel on gravel or poorly maintaind roads?

I'm guilty on counts 1,3,5,6,then 3,4. I upgraded from 15 inch C rated to 16 inch E rated LT tires. I have an older 2955 that weighs about 9000 pounds empty.
As for my statement cost be darned. Ask the guys who had China bombs that took out the side of their camper how much they cost. If you are going to pay for good tires you should by all means get them.

Thank Lonnie you have been a huge help to us.
