Who Carries eternabond with them?

So on my last RV I bought and carried a roll of this Dicor product with me just in case disaster ever struck while on the road. Never had to use it. I was going to buy a white one for my Montana "just in case" and carry some dicor too.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Question is should I carry this or Eternabond?

https://www.amazon.com/EternaBond-RS...e%2C231&sr=1-4

I don't know why you wouldn't. It's handy stuff to have and I doubt it will put you over any weight limits. I wouldn't think you need both. JMO

Curious about the Alpha system self leveling sealant. Its basically the same stuff as dicor right but in theory this is what they use for the roof at Keystone(the factory?)

I have read a little about this but curious cause I think most people just use dicor.

I'm like Carl, since you never know what will happen I carry an assortment of the same things. I also carry an assortment of shark bite fittings. When my water pump froze the other night and cracked I had a dead end connection I could attach to the tubing until the new pump arrived. Never had that happen before, but never had 0 degrees and some wind before either.

Better to have a supply of fix it items and not need them , than to need and not have them. I even carry extra taillight assembly and marker light lenses besides bulbs

I too carry a roll of eternabond, gorilla tape, dicor and silicone. If you are out somewhere and disaster strikes, it's good to be prepared, even if the fix is temporary.

I, too carry a roll of Eternabond, a tube of DICOR and some duct tape - I like the 3m commercial grade tape better then Gorilla, being more flexible and quite possibly stickier, plus some Titebond Ultimate glue and a tube of waterproof aquarium silicone. Ya never know when that sharp tree branch will jump out and rub an 12" hole in the rubber roof as it did to us in a CG near Santa Fe, NM.

I carry eternabond and have always had good success with it but don't see why the other product (dicor) you listed wouldn't work as well. Along with dicor sealants, gorilla tape etc. I also carry a roll of "scrim" tape for repairs of the underbelly coroplast or darco fabric.

painters tape is the best tape of all! i used it once when i lost a lock on the LP gas tank doors and it was flapping in the wind. Love that stuff. So many uses.

I always have a roll of 4 inch white eturnabond with me along with a tube or two of dicor. I have done multiple repairs on my unit and other units. Even repaired several for people I don't even know when tree branches fell on their roofs and poked a hole in it.
Years ago when leaving the property I currently own I know I hit some branches on the way out. When we got set up at Camp I climbed up on the roof to find 15 triangular holes in a row. Easy peasy fix with the Eternal Bond.

What I purchased

I ordered the 12' X 4" Dicor brand form Amazon, simply because it came in a tan color which matched my roof's color nicely.

Same as above except I use marine silicone. Its waterproof, far stronger than any used from the factory, still flexible and will last until you take it off.
