I've had two F350's (2001 and 2006) and had the rear stabilizers on both vehicles. I believe they are also part of the camper package which I added as options on both. With the weight of your unit in the trucks bed you want to be as heavy duty as possible, especially with SRW which I have too. My SRW F350 tows my 3400 very well and unless I am on very rough roads I don't know it's behind me. I highly recommend the stabilizers

We have the 08 dually and put on the camper package which I think is the same as the stablizer package in the SWD.Also put on the snow plow prep package.. They beef up the suspension which can't hurt. Might make it ride a bit hard solo..but then it is a big truck..

Thanks guys for the info. I chose the stabilizer package opposed to the camper package. My understanding in the difference of the two is the camper package has the rear stabilizer, extra heavy duty front springs and is camper certified. The stabilizer package has the rear stabilizer and a heavy duty front springs not camper certified. Didnt feel I needed the extra heavy front springs as I will not be having a camper overhead. Getting excited new truck should be here soon.

We did not order ours and it came with the packages installed off the lot. Yours is a better choice.

If it is a deisel it has the heavy duty front springs, you cant get one without them, the stabilizer package is just one round bar around the rear axel. Not sure if it helps but I ordered one because it was so cheap.
