Our BIG SKY is here, finally.

I just got off the telephone with the dealer and our Bug Guy (Big Sky) arrived on Saturday. We ordered it on January 27 after about 3 months of research on the big sky vs the Montana and after getting a price that we could not refuse we made the big decision to trade in our 2980RL.

We have the PDI checklist that David and Jo-Anna updated (thanks again Dave) in one hand and the check in the other so will be off in the morning for a long day with the PDI. I will post another thread in a day or two to let you know how it all went.

Color us E X C I T E D. This is like the night before Christmas. We now have 12 months to get it out fitted the way we want, sell the stick built and get out of Dodge (well Ephrata). The house goes on the market late next month and if it sell quick we will become work campers until my wife can retire.

Dick:

Great news!!!! I know how excited you must be. Hope your PDI goes as well as ours did--but watch out for the corner of that %$#&@$## bedroom slide--it can be very hard on the head. LOL!!!

Look forward to your report in a few days. We delivered our check today and will take our Big Sky to a nearby campground tomorrow for two days of really living in it.

Dick and Jackie,

Glad your finally found your Big Sky. I am sure you are going to enjoy it for many years. How exciting, selling your house and Jackie retiring in a year. Time to enjoy. I appreciate your help in providing me a list of items to ask the dealer to throw in the deal. The dealer agreed and we are going to pick up our Big Sky in Ohio in June.

Thanks Karen for your kind words. Keep us informed how things are going with your order and delivery. David has a great PDI that he has put together for the Big Sky so drop him a email and get a copy. I think he is a little busy right now with checking out every thing in his and Jo-Anna's new big sky.

Wow, that's great. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that we saw it for the first time. We still haven't ordered yet, had to postpone our plans a couple of months.
Anxious to hear how you do with the PDI. Hope it goes good.

Congratulations, Dick and Jackie, on your new Big Sky. Sounds like you are getting just what you want. We just got into our 2980RL and love it but can fully understand what you are doing. Enjoy!
