Central Vac
How are the central vacuums? Do they have the adjitator that spins like regular vacuums? Thanks, we have our first Monty delivery first week of May. Traded in our Solitude by Grand Design.

In 2010 they also did not and we purchased the head from the manufacturer.

Had central vac in our 2008 3400RL and did not like it. Deleted vac when we ordered the 2012. Use an upright Dirt Devil and it does a MUCH better job.

The factory vacuums do not come with a rotating head but you can order one from the vacuums manufacturer. We ordered one and they work very good, wife loves the central vacuum! While you are at it you can also order some more vacuum bags from them too.

Got one but don't use it. Travel with a hand held Shark that works better.

Our Big Sky didn't have the rotating head. The hose is in a storage building. Use a Shark instead.

We have had 3 in our last Montanas and love them. Of course we too have purchased a powerhead.

We have a 2015 3610RL and it came with a central vac. It too, does not have a rotating attachment, but does have about 4 attachments with which we have no issues. All the attachments come in a bag which stores nicely in the bottom of our pantry, close to the system. It works great on both floors. I don't go as fast as I do with the upright at home, but if you stop and think about it, the faster you go, the less it picks up, IMO. The hose reaches to both ends of the RV and does a great job for us. If I ever order another RV (which I don't plan to do), I will have the central vac included. I personally like the system.

We like the new central vac system with the "dust pan". And, with so much of the unit Linoleum now, the rotating head feature isn't a big deal. At home, we just bring the Dyson out if needed. We have had the central vac in all three of our Montana's.

We spent two nights in it, brought it home, and then buried it in 30" of snow. We will be taking it out next Wednesday, but so far we are very happy with it. We will put a few thousand miles on it in a week and a half. It will be a good test. Thanks for asking.
