cleaning

Can anybody tell me what will remove the mildew on the rubber "Rub" strips on the unit, I've been in storage for 8 mos. and I need to get it off and conventional cleaners won't do the trick(ie, black mark remover, chlorox, etc.)

Thanx

Ken

Pressure washer, just don't point it at the decals or get it too close. It will remove the silicone caulk also if you're not careful.

I have had good results using a product called "Krud Kutter" found in the paint dept at Lowes and Home Depot. I use it with a scrubber sponge.

Krud Kutter is good stuf and non-toxic.

Black Steak remover took the mildew off of the strips for me although I did have to let it sit on the surface for a minute.

If it's really just mildew, 10% bleach/90% water mixture. This should help prevent it, too.
