1/2 bath entry door?

Hey All,

The wife and I were cleaning the Montana today and I did something wrong when I opened the powder room door. If you have this model you know the door does not swing out like a normal door. This thing kind of slide's over to the door jam then you push or pull it the rest of the way open. When I did that I heard a thump then the door went sideways, now it won't move at all.

any suggestion's before I take the power drill to it and take it off it's hinges.

Thanks again for the help.....

Pivot door

Charlie - we have treated our pivot door like a porcelain princess and (knock on wood ) we have not had any issues. The door does not have “hinges” - the top of the door rides in a track and there seems to be a full ht rod in the door jamb that connects the top pivot to the bottom pivot. Lots of folks have changed the door to a traditional hinge mounted door, but I don’t think that would work well for our floor plan. Try searching the forum for “pivot door” and read thru a few threads to see if you can find some guidance. I’m sure someone will chime in with a solution. Sorry I could not offer an answer but I will be watching this thread as my day will most likely come.
