Lippert Air Ride Pin Box

Thinking about replacing standard pin box on 2018 Montana HC with Lippert Airride. Wondering if anyone else uses this pin box and what has been your
experience.

Thanks

I love our TrailAir, but then again - never pulled anything else …

We have Trailair Pinbox and we like it. It absorbs a lot of the shock to the front of trailer.

2 years ago, while in the middle of a cross country trip, had to do something about the chucking and bucking. Did research and decided to get Reese 5th Airborne. All of the chucking and bucking gone. Don't even know the trailer is back there, especially at bridge transitions.

Decided on Reese over TrailAir because Reese was almost 1/2 the price, and the airbag is inside the hitch, thus no worries about UV degrading the airbag.

Very happy with the decision.

I just installed one. And then took it back off. Air bag was tilted with the bottom mounting ring shited to the right by 1-1/2" (looking from the front). The left side of the bottom donut was rubbing against the top steel plate of the lower jaw. I talked to etrailer Saturday and send some pictures, and they shipped replacement out today. Hopefully will install later this week. We are supposed to leave on a 2 month trip this Friday. A big thankyou to etrailer for repalceing the defective unit. A good company to do business with.

We installed TrailAir several years ago and immediately got a better ride. I have wondered if some of the frame flexing issues from years back that others have experienced could have been avoided by getting a TrailAir. When we traded up to our current Monty we had the new MorRyde pen box put on our old rig and kept our TrailAir.

Installed 2nd pin box and have been on the road for over a week. Smoother ride, well worth the money.
