After reviewing our travel itinerary it looks like we will be arriving on the 14th. Please let us know if that will be a problem.

Thanks,

Jack...once again a monkey wrench has been tossed in to our plans at the last minute. we will not be able to make it to Q since my Doc. says I need a pacemaker and is setting it up ASAP. Nothing major, just a very irregular heart beat but he says if left go I may start passing out??? Hmmmm don't sound like fun since the last time I did that I wrecked a Verizon truck into a bridge.... This has been the third year that something has prevented us from gettin to Q, at least this year we got close enough we had the rig loaded and ready to leave....oh well there's always next year, sorry....Dave

Jack & Dave,
Well, I'm not sure if Mel has let you know yet or not, but......Looks like our "New Big Sky" will still be in the RV Shop :-( . So, since Mel will also be at work during the Gathering it will be just me coming up for the day on the day of the potluck to visit everyone, instead of staying there. Butch and Susan can fill you in on everything when they get there. Have lots of fun.
Hugs, Joy

ps. just because I'm not there won't mean you can exclude me on any special Recipes you will be sharing! lol.

This is a real bummer Dave and I were so looking forward to having you here and visiting for more than just one day. I will make sure you get copies of all the good recipes that will be shared.

Jack

Our planned arrival date is Jan 14. Would it be a problem if we arrive on Jan 15?

We are arriving a day early. Will be pulling in this afternoon - the 14th instead of the 15th.

I just have to find the directions again. I have a hard time finding things on the forum when I need them. :-)

Ratherbee here are the directions from the other Q page in case you couldn't find them:

8th Annual Circling of the Montana's Schedule, Activities and Directions - 2013

Good news....we are in the same spot as last year

The center of the universe is located at:
N33*45.861'
W114*10.516'

The circle is scribed and ready to be occupied. We will have room for 40 rigs in the circle this year. You can also PM or e-mail me if you like and I will give you my cell number.

Below are the pictures of the signs to look for:

First sign you will see where you need to turn off the pavement to the circle:

Second sign you will see directing you to the circle:

Directions:

Plomosa Road is about 6 miles NORTH of the intersection of Main Street and AZ-95 in downtown Quartzsite.

From Quartzsite drive NORTH on AZ-95 past mile marker 114, turn RIGHT (EAST) onto Plomosa Road.

Drive 2.8 miles, turn LEFT at Montana Sign onto BLM land.

Turn LEFT again (there will be a 2nd sign).....look for lots of Montana's and flags....about 1/4 mile WEST.

The GPS coordinates are:
N33*45.861'
W114*10.516'

Once you arrive at the site we will direct you to your parking spot and if you are going to be outside the circle you will or already have received an e-mail from me.[/quote]

Hope that helps! I have had problems finding stuff when I really need it too! Safe travels and congratulations on arriving a day early! HAVE FUN!
