Hello From Kentucky

Hello everyone, just bought a 3685FL will go in Thursday to get the hitch installed and learn a lot (I hope). This is our first 5th Wheel and we are excited. Everyone told us to go a little bigger than what we thought we would need so we did. The kids will probably come and visit us once in awhile and will need a place to sleep. We started out looking at entry level's (Dutchmen, Jayco Eagle, etc). After looking at sooooooo many we finally narrowed it down to the Montana. We were looking for something that we could stay in when it got cold, as we hunt quite a bit and goose season is upon us. Daily, during hunting season, we drive 3-1/2 hours round trip to our lease in Illinois. This year we opted to find something we could stay in until the season ends in Jan. We have already made reservations for Feb-Mar in Florida, then its off somewhere in between to meet my brother from Washington who owns an Alpen Lite. After this we are looking at going hunting next year in Canada. Ron went this year and really enjoyed it.

We live on Kentucky lake with our dog Bud. We love the water and have a 42' Fountain (go fast) boat that keeps us out on the water pretty much during the summer months.

This is all new to us so any hints or tips will be well appreciated.

I am happy to see so many people who own the Montana coming together and helping each other.

The scenery never changes unless you're the lead dog.
